Wills

A will is a legal document that states how you would like your assets to be distributed after you die. If you don't have a will then your estate will be distributed in accordance with the Rules of Intestacy.

You may not think that you have enough money to leave in a will, however changes to Pension legislation and increasing house prices can mean that you have more to leave then you may at first think. Some people use a will as a confirmation that they want particular assets such as cars or jewellery to belong to specific people.

Your will can be as simple or as complicated as you like. However the execution (the way the will is signed and witnessed) is extremely important and can result in a will being invalid.
